We're rolling out BP Fantasy today. Here's the latest. Post to be updated as things change.
Update 2/11/12: did you know the depth charts now list players both by lineup slot and position? You can now view each team's depth chart in either way by using the buttons above the hitters section. Please let us know what you think.

BP Unfiltered: Menu Bar and Comments Changes |
We've made some changes to the comments and the menu bar on the site.
We have a few site updates to announce. First, the small one: we've installed a new menu bar across the top of the page. It has the same stuff the old one did, for now, but keep an eye on it, as we'll be making some additional changes. You can use the menu bar to quickly get to the Transactions Browser and the Compensation page, just to mention a couple of the features we've released over the past few months.

Remembering Greg Spira |
A true friend to Baseball Prospectus--and baseball analysis in general--has passed away.
Our friend, Greg Spira, passed away yesterday.
I've been in a reflective mood lately. Part of it is the holidays, I'm sure, and spending some precious quality time with family. Part of it is the recency of the Best of Baseball Prospectus editing experience... working with all of that content really brought back memories of how things were in the old days. We dedicated those books to Doug Pappas, another of our friends who left us too soon, and whenever I flip past the dedication I'm reminded of Doug's entertaining phone conversation with the commish... goodness, we were all once so young and full of vinegar.

We're submitting them for printing within days or even hours, depending on a couple of things, but until we have to hit send we could use your help proofing them.
