Is Ender Inciarte interesting? I see him in the Minor League Update a lot.
Will there be anything interesting at their Dominican complex this summer? I'll be there.
I was wondering why Martinez didn't have a FB rating next to "The Tools," but noticed he has two CB ratings. Typo.
Exciting team of prospects to read about. I haven't read much hype for their system, but that's an awful lot of pitching ceiling. As a Twins & Dbacks fan I look forward to the future.
Shipley going 15th overall in the draft looks silly now. In twelve months it's probably going to look downright ludicrous.
Where would you rank Bradley in the minors based solely on pure ceiling? There is Giolito, Bundy, and then some combo of Bradley/Gausman/Walker/Stephenson?
I think Bradley can stand side-by-side with Bundy in terms of ceiling. Giolito and Gray might be slightly ahead on that front.
What do you think of Zeke Spruill? Baseball America was decently high on him last year but haven't heard much about him on BP.
Stryker Trahan is an all-time great name, straight out of the Universal Baseball Association. I will be rooting for him to reach the majors, based on that alone.
First I saw Aaron Blair's picture and thought to myself "Man, that guy looks like Tony Blair." Only then did I see his name. Please tell me he's a distant relative.
Am I wrong to think of a left handed Michael Choice when I see Williams? If memory serves me correctly, Williams’ report sounds very similar to Choice’s, no? (Debatable athletic profile, huge power, questions about the hit tool against higher level pitching, body concerns.)
Not bad. Not bad..
Thanks, I love the write-ups. A minor (npi) suggestions, under "The Year Ahead" can you consistently give your projection for level/success? Thanks, Greg
how many dbacks on this year's 101
Jason, what do you think about Daniel Palka, 1B? He is a little older for the level he was at last year, but he hit well. I haven't seen much analysis on him, just the numbers. Do you see any potential major league material there?
Thanks for the work you do.
The grades on Shipley's pitches and His OFP and Most realistic outcome all point to him being better than 6-7 pitchers you placed in front of him on the top 101
care to elaborate on the gap in continuity?
