  • Pirates OF Andrew McCutchen delivered a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 12th inning.
  • Brewers OF Ryan Braun went 3-for-6 with two doubles.
  • Pirates 2B Neil Walker went 2-for-3 in his second game since coming off the disabled list.
  • Brewers SP Kyle Lohse allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings of a no-decision.
  • Pirates SP Jeff Locke allowed three runs in six innings but took a no-decision.
(21-18) Rockies - 9 at 4 - Cubs (16-23)-
(14-22) Mets - 4 at 10 - Cardinals (25-13)
  • Cardinals OF Carlos Beltran went 3-for-5 with a homer and four RBI.
  • Cardinals SP John Gast allowed four earned runs over six innings.
  • Mets 1B Ike Davis finished 0-for-4 with a strikeout.
  • Mets SP Dillon Gee was shelled for six runs -- five earned -- over four innings Tuesday in a loss to the Cardinals.
(22-17) Braves - 0 at 2 - Diamondbacks (22-18)
  • Diamondbacks SP Patrick Corbin pitched three-hit ball for seven innings.
  • Diamondbacks RP Heath Bell pitched a scoreless ninth for a save.
  • Braves SP Julio Teheran took his first loss after allowing two runs in six innings.
  • Diamondbacks SS Didi Gregorius drove in the only two runs of the game.
(21-18) Nationals - 0 at 2 - Dodgers (16-22)
  • Dodgers SP Clayton Kershaw blanked the Nationals for 8 2/3 innings to pick up his fourth win of the year.
  • Dodgers RP Kenley Jansen got one out in the ninth to earn his second save of the year.
  • Batting leadoff with Denard Span sitting, Nationals 2B Danny Espinosa went 0-for-4, dropping his average to .175.
  • Dodgers OF Andre Ethier had a two-run single in the 3rd inning for the only two runs of the game.

American League:

(18-21) Mariners - 3 at 4 - Yankees (25-14)
  • Yankees SP CC Sabathia struck out 10 batters but was left with a no-decision.
  • Mariners SP Felix Hernandez struck out eight while tossing six innings of one-run ball but suffered a no-decision.
  • Yankees 1B Lyle Overbay hit an RBI double and a sacrifice fly in a comeback win.
  • Mariners OF Raul Ibanez singled and belted a two-run homer off of CC Sabathia.
(10-30) Astros - 2 at 6 - Tigers (22-15)
  • Tigers SP Doug Fister allowed two runs in seven innings.
  • Tigers RP Jose Valverde rebounded from his first blown save of the season to pitch a scoreless ninth inning.
  • Tigers 3B Miguel Cabrera went 2-for-3 with his eighth home run of the season.
  • Astros SP Lucas Harrell allowed five runs in five-plus innings.
(22-17) Red Sox - 3 at 5 - Rays (20-18)
  • Rays SP Matt Moore allowed three runs over six innings.
  • Red Sox DH David Ortiz hit his fifth home run of the season.
  • Rays RP Fernando Rodney struck out the side in the ninth inning to earn his seventh save of the season.
  • Red Sox SP John Lackey allowed five runs in 4 1/3 innings.
(16-21) White Sox - 4 at 2 - Twins (18-18)
  • White Sox SP Jake Peavy allowed two runs over seven innings.
  • White Sox RP Addison Reed worked a scoreless ninth inning for his 12th save of the season.
  • White Sox 1B Adam Dunn hit his seventh home run of the season.
  • Twins SP Kevin Correia allowed four runs over seven innings.
(19-17) Royals - 2 at 6 - Angels (15-24)
  • Angels SP Jason Vargas pitched two-run ball for seven innings.
  • Angels 2B Howie Kendrick went 3-for-4 with a solo home run.
  • Angels OF Mike Trout hit his seventh homer and stole his seventh base.
  • Royals DH Billy Butler collected a solo homer and an RBI double.
(25-14) Rangers - 6 at 5 - Athletics (20-21) (10 innings)
  • Rangers 1B Mitch Moreland homered in the 4th and 10th inning.
  • Rangers RP Joe Nathan notched a save despite giving up a run in the 10th.
  • Athletics 3B Josh Donaldson went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles against the Rangers on Tuesday.
  • Athletics SP Bartolo Colon went 6 innings giving up three runs and four hits in a no decision.
  • Rangers SP Derek Holland went 5.2 innings giving up four runs and eight hits in a no decision.
Inter League:

  • Padres RP Huston Street earned his ninth save of the year.
  • Orioles RP Jim Johnson blew his first save of the season.
  • Padres SP Andrew Cashner allowed two runs -- one earned -- over 7 1/3 innings.
  • Orioles SP Chris Tillman allowed just one run over seven innings Tuesday but the Orioles fell to the Padres.

  • Phillies SP Jonathan Pettibone moved to 3-0 with another solid effort, allowing two runs over 6 2/3 frames.
  • Indians SP Scott Kazmir was knocked around for four runs on six hits and two walks over five innings.
  • Phillies OF Domonic Brown singled, ripped a solo homer and scored a pair of runs.
  • Phillies OF John Mayberry went 3-for-4 with three RBI, a run scored and a stolen base.

  • Rockies signed RHP Sean Gallagher to a minor league contract; assigned him to Double-A Tulsa.
  • Marlins activated C Jeff Mathis from the 15-day disabled list.
  • Mets SP Collin McHugh has been summoned to join the Mets in St. Louis.
  • Cardinals purchased the contract of LHP John Gast from Triple-A Memphis.
  • Mets signed RHP Matt Fox to a minor league contract.

  • Orioles recalled INF/OF Yamaico Navarro from Triple-A Norfolk.
  • Yankees optioned LHP Vidal Nuno to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
  • Yankees activated OF Curtis Granderson from the 15-day disabled list.
  • Orioles recalled RHP Alex Burnett from Triple-A Norfolk.
  • Orioles placed RHP Wei-Yin Chen on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 13, with a strained right oblique.
  • Astros recalled INF Jacob Elmore from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
