if you had told me that one year later we'd be in the same exact spot watching this go down in Game 5 of the ALDS i'd have told you to pass the bong this way....
this A's team has given us way more than anybody expected
That wasn't the final day of the season, greendrummer, but your point is taken. As a Tigers fan I too remember it well. I wasn't more than about two sections away from you, and Verlander was dominant.
He can be homer-prone when he's not on, so maybe that's how you'll get to him. As much of a Tigers fan as I am, if we have to lose I wouldn't mind if it was to this great A's team.
