BP Comment Quick Links terryspen (30748) Am I reading this right? Did someone at Baseball Prospectus say something nice about the Marlins? As a Fish season ticket holder (the few, the proud), I give Beinfest credit for keeping the team competitive most years despite the Lorians' penny pinching. I have never understood why other teams spend arbitration-level salaries on the Kevin Greggs and Mike Jacobs of the world. Hermida is a puzzle -- I defended him until he became indefensible. He still might blossom but it's not worth the gamble unless you're a big money team that can afford the risk. Nov 07, 2009 17:20 PM tgrcub (609) Ok, I have to admit, a little disappointment with the Red Sox commentary... not with the baseball analysis, mind you, but when Christina wrote "Not that Jeremy Hermida's about to blow up like Parliament", I was just hoping that the link would be her dropping the P-Funk bomb on us. *sigh* Nov 08, 2009 07:08 AM

It isn't a question of if J.D. Drew gets hurt again, but when, and for how long. Talk about talent wasted.
