BP Prospect Team Roster

by BP Prospect Staff

One of the things we’re proudest of at Baseball Prospectus is that former BPers have routinely gone on to bigger and better success both within the game and outside of it. The prospect team of 2016 lost six members to scouting gigs or baseball operations jobs, and another to a social media position with a team. While turnover is always difficult, we are confident that we have restocked the cupboard with phenomenal talent so as to provide our readers with the best prospect coverage possible.

To that end, I’d like to introduce you to the new (or newer) members of our team, and provide a little bit of background on who they are (in their own words), and what leagues they’ll be covering. Be sure to give them a follow on Twitter and keep up with their work all season long. —Craig Goldstein

Greg Goldstein - Will graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park this spring. Interned for the Aberdeen IronBirds last summer. Have written over 150 articles dealing with player analysis, transactions, the minor leagues and general baseball news for the blog, Call to the Pen. Recently have been covering the University of Maryland baseball team this spring, while having an eye on scouting some of the draft eligible players that I’ve seen. I will be covering the Carolina League, Eastern League (West) and the New York-Penn League as I am living in Baltimore, MD this summer
