Over the past several years, I've put together top prospect compilations from sources across the Internet. I have linked to the files below. The Excel workbooks contain tabs at the bottom representing each of the league’s divisions as well as a tab for top 100 lists and positional analysis.

2009-2010 Top Prospects Compilation

2010-2011 Top Prospects Compilation

2011-2012 Top Prospects Compilation

Last year, we decided to change things up a bit. Instead of putting together the list myself, BP partnered with FantasyRundown.com to provide our subscribers with one of the best prospect compilation resources on the Internet today.

2012-2013 Top Prospects Compilation (Provided by FantasyRundown.com)

FantasyRundown.com has once again compiled the 2014 MLB Prospect Rankings from all of the top sources on the Internet into an Excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet consists of top overall prospect rankings, team-by-team prospect rankings, and positional prospect rankings. Since we respect the enormous amount of work put into this project by "Goose" at FantasyRundown.com, and the fact that he sells the spreadsheet as a separate item on its own, this product will remain behind the BP pay wall for now, available only to subscribers.

Here's a screenshot sample of what the prospect matrix looks like (2012-13 version):

Be sure to visit FantasyRundown.com, a website that compiles the best free fantasy baseball and football analysis, rankings, and projections from the top sources on the Internet, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You can also follow them on Twitter at @FantasyRundown.

Now...for the latest spreadsheet update, click the link below to download:

2013-2014 Top Prospects Compilation (Provided by FantasyRundown.com)

Update: Every time the spreadsheet is updated by Goose, we'll refresh the file and add a new blog post. So you'll get all the changes and complete information.

What about John Sickels' ratings? I know he is behind because of his concussion but he says he is still anticipating producing his ratings.

Sickel's ratings are on the spreadsheet. There's a a tab for MLBall. His overall rankings aren't on the matrix spreadsheet because they're broken down separately by top hitters and top pitchers, not top 100 if I remember correctly. They are also generally a part of John's book and not free content.

Just an FYI, Sickels does do Top 50/50 only for his book, but last year he did eventually produce a Top 150 that was free on the site. If he does it again, I imagine it'll be pretty late into the spring given how far behind he is.

Ok, thanks for the heads up. I think Goose updates these through the first week of April so hopefully we'll capture the list this year.

Thank you, very solid info that I was thinking of compiling but, wouldn't have done 1/8 as good of a job. thanks much Joe.

I've been getting this on the side for the last few years. It's inexpensive, and I am happy to reward Goose for putting all that effort out there.

Thanks, Joe! Is there another location on this site, where I can get a more up-to-date version? Or, is there a new version forthcoming? Thanks, again!

Can anyone explain how does this compare to the composite rankings on the Fantasy 411 spreadsheet?

Not that the high cost of 3.99 is going to prevent me from purchasing this spreadsheet...

The spreadsheet is free to download here if you're a BP subscriber. You don't have to pay the $3.99 that you'd pay on Fantasy Rundown.

FWIW - The BP listing fails to rank Dylan Bundy P BAL but ranks Bobby Bundy P BAL as 18.

It's just a typo on the spreadsheet. I'll let Fantasy Rundown know

This is awesome. I've only been a subscriber for about a month. This spreadsheet is worth that fee alone.

Is there a way to sort by consensus ranking? Thanks.

Thanks for this. I have also done my own version over the years, but this will certainly save some time.

Would it be possible to see an updated version which strips out all non-eligible players (ie. those thought have lost their ML eligibility)?

Jose Fernandez and Evan Gattis jumped out at me on first glance, but there may be more.

You see them on this year's spreadsheet? If for some reason they are, remember, this is just a compilation from sources. Fantasy Rundown puts together the spreadsheet and we offer it as is. If you have specific spreadsheet asks, please contact Fantasy Rundown. Thanks

I'm doing something wrong. When I try to download the spreadsheet, I'm asked for an ID/password.

I'm not seeing how my BP subscription provides free access. What am I missing?
