- Brewers 3B Aramis Ramirez is considered day-to-day after being diagnosed with a left wrist contusion.

- SP Johnny Cueto (back) will throw another bullpen session on Saturday, and if all goes well he could return to the Reds starting rotation on Monday or Tuesday.
- Braves OF Jason Heyward (jaw) took batting practice on the field on Friday, the first time he had done so since undergoing surgery to repair his broken jaw.
- Dodgers OF Matt Kemp (ankle) is making progress in his recovery, as he was able to run curves on the field prior to Friday's game against the Giants.
- Diamondbacks RP J.J. Putz (finger) is expected to throw a simulated game on Saturday.
- Diamondbacks RP Matt Reynolds (elbow) felt renewed pain during Thursday's side session and will visit a doctor to get checked out again.

- Braves RP Scott Downs (finger) will see hand specialist Dr. Gary Lourie on Friday.
