  • Mariners pitching prospect Danny Hultzen will remain shut down for about 10 more days as he continues recovering from irritation in his left shoulder.
  • Orioles 2B Jonathan Schoop (back) is scheduled to begin playing in rehab games on Thursday.
  • Angels pitching coach Mike Butcher said that SP Tommy Hanson (forearm) "turned everything loose with no hesitation" during a 35-pitch bullpen session Wednesday.

  • Cardinals manager Mike Matheny indicated Tuesday that he plans to give C Yadier Molina more days off moving forward.
