  • Phillies 3B Maikel Franco is batting .500/.514/.912 with 17 hits, three home runs and eight RBI through his first eight games for Double-A Reading.
  • Pirates SP Jameson Taillon has been pitching well while biding his time at Double-A Altoona, posting a 2.93 ERA and 80/31 K/BB ratio through 76 2/3 innings in his first six starts.

  • Orioles RP T.J. McFarland will start on Friday against the Yankees.

Somewhat amusing that the only innings Manny Machado hasn't played this year are because of this ejection.
