What you didn't factor in is that the basketball and football drafts both occur after the college season and in the respective pro off-seasons. The players are really just keeping in shape while waiting for draft day. MLB should move their draft to July, after the College World Series. How about the day after the All-Star Game in which NOTHING is happening in all of pro sports. That would focus more attention on something that is really overlooked.
