  • Padres RP Huston Street notched his 11th save by tossing a perfect ninth.
  • Padres SP Jason Marquis allowed two runs — one earned — on three hits over six innings for the win.
  • Padres OF Chris Denorfia went 3-for-4 with a steal and an RBI.
  • Cardinals SP Shelby Miller coughed up three runs on five hits over 5 2/3 innings in the loss.

  • Reds SP Johnny Cueto won in his return from the disabled list after allowing three runs and three hits in five innings.
  • Reds RP Aroldis Chapman bounced back from Sunday's blown save by pitching a perfect ninth in a one-run game.
  • Mets SP Shaun Marcum fell to 0-5 after allowing four runs in six innings.
  • Mets 1B Ike Davis was removed in a double-switch after going 0-for-3 with two strikeouts.

  • Diamondbacks OF A.J. Pollock broke out of a slump by going 3-for-5 with two runs scored.
  • Diamondbacks SP Patrick Corbin moved to 7-0 by pitching a three-hitter and striking out 10.
  • Rockies SP Jon Garland was roughed up giving up eleven hits and five runs over 6 innings.
  • Diamondbacks SS Didi Gregorius went 3-for-5 with two RBI.
  • Diamondbacks 3B Eric Chavez went 3-for-5 with an RBI triple.

  • Giants OF Angel Pagan went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI.

  • Rockies OF Michael Cuddyer (neck) will play two games in extended spring training this week and is expected to be activated from the disabled list Friday.
  • Phillies 1B Ryan Howard received a cortisone shot in his left knee on Sunday.
  • Phillies C Carlos Ruiz was diagnosed with a Grade 2 strain of his right hamstring and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.
  • Padres manager Bud Black said he'd like OF Cameron Maybin (wrist) to get around 30 rehab at-bats.
  • Padres OF James Darnell could need another surgery on his left shoulder after injuring it at Triple-A Tucson on May 14.
  • Cardinals SP Jake Westbrook (elbow) plans to resume throwing from a mound on Tuesday.
  • Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said RP Scott Elbert's (elbow) velocity during his rehab assignment "still isn't where we want it to be."
  • Dodgers SS Hanley Ramirez (hamstring) has been taking ground balls and hitting recently.

  • Cardinals RP Trevor Rosenthal has not allowed a run since April 24.
  • Dodgers SP Ted Lilly will be available out of the bullpen for the next couple days but then will rejoin the Dodgers' rotation.
  • Pitching exclusively out of the bullpen, Diamondbacks RP Josh Collmenter is 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA and 0.95 WHIP over 22 innings.
American League:

  • Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said Monday that OF Anthony Gose will not be an everyday player.
  • Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said Friday that SP Kyle Gibson, P.J. Walters, or Sam Deduno will be called up to start Friday against the Tigers.
  • Red Sox manager John Farrell does not want to use RP Andrew Bailey on back-to-back days for now.
  • Rangers manager Ron Washington said 2B Jurickson Profar will split playing time with Leury Garcia at second base while Ian Kinsler is on the disabled list.
