I have to admit, it still feels a little strange every time I realize that the Astros are in the American League team now. I see them playing against the Mariners and I think to myself, "They're playing interleague again?" And then it hits me.

Strangely enough, when I see the Tigers and Braves play an actual interleague game, I hardly notice it.

Let's get to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Jordany Valdespin, New York Mets – 24.28* seconds [video]
Jordany Valdespin may not be the most popular man in the Mets clubhouse, but he was last night. This walkoff grand slam in the tenth inning was exciting for everyone involved. Well, I guess not to Josh Wall and the Dodgers…

Slowest Trot: Nelson Cruz, Texas Rangers – 26.05 seconds [video]
Nelson Cruz helped put a cherry on top of the Rangers nine-run fourth inning with this blast against the Angels. For some reason, though, Cruz seemed a bit confused on what to do on the basepaths. He even looked into the Rangers dugout as he rounded first with a look of confusion on his face. "Wait, I keep running to the left?!"

In the Dodgers/Mets game, Matt Kemp hit his first home run of the year, but was stopped at third when it was unclear if the ball went over the fence. As with all interrupted trots, Kemp's home run was not timed.

Quickest Trot: Chase Utley, Philadelphia Phillies – 19.65 seconds [video]
A pair of rightfield blasts from Chase Utley and Ryan Howard. Somehow, Utley's trot came in quicker than Howard's. Crazy, I know!

Sean Rodriguez was the only other trotter on Wednesday to come home in under 20 seconds.
