It was an emotional day in Boston that was capped in a near-storybook fashion. Let's get right to the trots.

Home Run of the Day: Daniel Nava, Boston Red Sox – 19.82 seconds [video]
David Ortiz, in the pre-game ceremony for the first game at Fenway Park since the Boston Marathon bombing and barely 16 hours after the bombing suspect was apprehended: "This is our fuckin' city."

Don Orsillo calling Daniel Nava's go-ahead home run in the bottom of the eighth inning: "Boston this is for you!"

Slowest Trot: Mark Reynolds, Cleveland Indians – 26.33 seconds [video]
Cleveland was up on the Astros 14-0 at Minute Maid Park by the time Houston batted in the second inning. Amazingly, those 14 runs were accrued through the help of only one home run. Mark Reynolds made up for it with this stroll around the bases.

Thanks to the television cameras cutting away from Adam LaRoche before he reached home plate, the trot for the Nationals first baseman was not timed on Saturday.

Quickest Trot: Bryce Harper #1, Washington Nationals – 19.07 seconds [video]
Another two home run day for Harper, though not all that quick of a day. His second shot, a go-ahead blast in the eighth inning, clocked in at 20.75 seconds, the slowest of the year for Harper and the slowest of his career.

On Friday, Carlos Gomez claimed the quickest trot of the night with a 17.97 second sprint that actually seemed very slow when watching him run (video).
