You have to mention that Eric Bedard pitched 4 innings of 1 hit, 2 walk, no run ball and didn't get the win while Paul Clemens gave up 5 runs in relief and gets the W.

Silly MLB rule...

It sure is, Bedard has pitched well in both of his appearances so far this season. What's really unfortunate, is that this outing is probably one of the few times he could have picked up a win this season with the anemic Astros offense backing him.

Luke Gregerson threw one pitch yesterday and received the big "W" next to his name. That prompted discussion on our fantasy chat board of when someone (Embree?), didn't even throw a pitch last year, but got the victory. Apparently Embree came into the tie game, and before he threw a pitch, a runner was picked off for out number three. The Rockies scored in their next AB, then Embree was pulled. No pitch, but a win!

No love for Chris Carter's four-hit, two-homer game? :)

I probably should have mentioned Carter's big game, I'll make sure next time to get him on the list.
