Come to Denver, please? :)

I'm going to try just for you Richard. But if I can even fit it in, I'm going to need your help to recruit enough people to meet the ticket minimums, etc. As much as we treat these as events to celebrate the game, it's mostly all business to the teams. That's why it's a little easier in markets where there's no doubt the fans will show up...LA, Texas, Chicago, for example. Thanks

I know the last event was in 2007 at the Tattered Cover. I think there was about 30 people. I'm not sure how many Colorado people are still subscribed to BP. How big is the minimum?

It varies from park to park, but most are asking for 50 if we want a meeting space to have a Q and A with the front office and BP writers.

I'd feel confident I could get 10-15 that I know, but 50 by myself might be optimistic unless I resorted to random Facebook and Craigslist posts. Can you post a thread here to see if there is any interest?

Btw that past event had Dan Fox, Christina Kahrl and Nate Silver.

Oh and that event in 2007 just had BP writers, no one from the Rockies office. The BP Annual had just released though, so maybe it was just a book tour. I do remember the event had a podcast too.

Ok, let me see what I can do. I've never been to a Rockies game so I'd like to get there as well.

It is a very nice park unless you're a cigarette smoker. Good variety of food too. They also do a fireworks show on Fourth of July weekend and on the last homestand of the year which is awesome and they allow the fans on the field to lay on the grass and watch it.

If begging from Russell is what it took, then good job. See you guys in Atlanta.

This is the coolest thing a BP loving Braves dork could ask for. Thanks.

I'd love to see you guys come to Cleveland (as a huge Indians fan), but would head to Cincinnati from Columbus if you will be there. Any plans on being in Cleveland or Cincinnati this summer???

Maybe Cincinnati, but probably not Cleveland.

Great. Thank you. I will watch for (hopefully) an announcement about Cincinnati later this spring or summer.

Are you guys having an event at Citi Field this year?

I'm assuming (and hoping) that there'll be one during the All Star weekend but can't recall seeing an official announcement.

There won't be a Citi Field event this year. We will have 2 smaller events during the day of the All-Star game in Manhattan. Details on those will be announced soon.

Dumb question: Can one attend if one already has a game ticket? Is there a meet and greet only ticket?

Thanks again to Baseball Prospectus and the Braves staff for putting on such a great event! :) My Dad and I had a wonderful time, there was a great turnout, and B.J. Upton won everyone "free" burritos (that I completely forgot about taking advantage of yesterday ;) ). Fun game, great people, enjoyable content; well done, all! :)
