University of Miami commit Matthew McPhearson (OF), out of Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD), enjoys a center field skill set, complete with plus to plus-plus foot speed and an impressive ability to close and finish. His offensive game remains raw, but he keeps the barrel on plane pretty well and there is a chance for the hit tool to mature with advanced instruction and reps.
