Auburn commit Keegan Thompson (RHP) out of Cullman High School (Cullman, AL) features a solid average fastball sitting 87-92 throughout the summer, and topping 93/94. His best secondary is an 11-to-5 curve with big depth and solid shape. Thompson currently projects to the early single-digit rounds due to the quality of his fastball/curve, sound mechanics and his general feel for four pitches (he also throws a low-80s slider and changeup that each flash average). Today's video was taken at the 2012 USA Baseball Prospect Classic, an event that matches the USA Collegiate National Team against the USA 18U squad.
