More than anything, and I'm not totally sure why, these people reminded me of this.

Cespedes supporters

Darvish supporters

Parker supporters

Milone supporters

Well gosh I guess they're all in the conversation.

According to the mavens at InternetSlang dot com, FOH is an acronym for "F*** Outa Here", which -- of course -- doesn't help at all.

I have a couple of buddies who are this....opinionated...and I both hate/love talking about things like awards with them. It's extremely frustrating because there's absolutely nothing you can do to make them change their minds, but at the same time fascinating that they can't see things outside of their team's rose colored glasses.

These people above all have tunnel vision, but they're gonna get hit by the Trout Train! CHOO-CHOO!!!!

I can't understand this. No one is close to Trout all-time, much less this year. (My position changes if the above tweets are from people who think Trout should win MVP and thus shouldn't get ROY. Wrong, but better logic than simply 'Darvish/Cespedes have been just as good,' which is patently false.)

I like the mistype that "Darvish has been just good this year."

When the Teddy Roosevelt mascot makes front page ESPN news, writers need some kind of controversy to talk about so they stir up their downballot choices.

Maybe it just seems like a recent thing, but the new obsession with down-ballot choices puzzles me. Keith Law still gets flack to this day from St. Louis fans because he didn't have Adam Wainwright high enough on his ballot one year... and they weren't even complaining that he should win.

Every vote counts for the award, so even downballot ones are just as important, at least in theory. Getting up in arms might be overreaction, but if you get #1 right and fail on #s 2-10, it's worth talking about.

Mentioning Milone's name at all is just comical.
