It was a very busy night Friday night. Overall, 42 home runs were hit. Among those were a pinch-hit grand slam, a game-tying ninth-inning blast, four multi-home run games, and an extra-innings go-ahead shot. Oh, and Josh Hamilton hit two more home runs. No lack excitement last night, that's for sure.

Let's get to the trots.

Home Run of the Day: Carlos Beltran, St. Louis Cardinals #2 – 21.55 seconds [video]
Yes, Josh Hamilton has hit something like 23 home runs in the last three nights, and that is something to celebrate. But I don't want to overlook the month that Carlos Beltran is having. After his pair of home runs on Friday night, Beltran has three multi-home run games in the month of May already and now has 12 home runs on the year. Beltran also had a triple and a double in Friday's game.

Slowest Trot: Jesus Montero, Seattle Mariners – 25.27 seconds [video]
An odd, goose-step of a tater trot from Jesus Montero. It's the type of trot that you normally see from someone with an injured leg or who isn't sure the ball cleared the fence. Apparently, however, that's just how Montero runs.

Quickest Trot: Jason Heyward, Atlanta Braves – 18.5 seconds [video]
A twelfth-inning, go-ahead blast from the young rightfielder. The next quickest trot belonged to Toronto's Eric Thames, who circled the bases in 18.98 seconds.
