Apologies for the late Tater Trot Tracker update from yesterday. All home runs are now updated. Tuesday saw yet another homerless day for both Bryce Harper and Albert Pujols. Here's a good question: who gets their first home run first, Pujols or Harper (and you can even throw in Trout if you want)? As fun as it might be for Harper to long first, I want and expect it to be Pujols.

Now let's get to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Brett Lawrie, Toronto Blue Jays – 18.29* seconds [video]
It's really difficult when Brett Lawrie and Jed Lowrie hit home runs on the same day. My mind just has no idea how to pronounce either last name when I see them so close together.

As for Lawrie's home run, it was a walkoff shot to leadoff the bottom of the ninth inning. Lawrie was pretty thrilled about it running the bases, giving us one of the most enthusiastic jumps onto home plate I've seen. (Of course, Kendrys Morales might want to teach him something about that.) Overall, it was a pretty nice moment for the Jays.

Slowest Trot: Chris Snyder, Houston Astros – 25.57 seconds [video]
Snyder crushed this ball down the thirdbase line. There were some legitimate fair/foul concerns off the bat, but it was Snyder admiring his blast that caused such a slow trot.

Quickest Trot: Brett Lawrie, Toronto Blue Jays – 18.29* seconds [video]
Lawrie's walkoff trot was also the quickest trot of the day. However, Curtis Granderson, Tyler Colvin, and Kelly Johnson all had nice quick trots too. Dee Gordon, one of the fastest men in baseball, hit his first career home run on Tuesday. Sadly, he disappointed everyone by dawdling around the bases to the tune of 19.3 seconds.
