With Baseball Prospectus 2012 arriving at homes everywhere, it's time once again to kick off our annual book tour. This year we'll be making five stops, four of which are confirmed below. And for all you television and mustache groupies, Jay Jaffe's agent has promised his client will postpone an upcoming photo shoot so that he can be with you, his fans.

We tried, but they didn't have any availability for us.

A Sacramento/Davis area event would be appreciated.

S.F. will be in play, so you should rock the drive down I-80 and join in the good times.

Boston??

No Boston this year unfortunately. There were too many conflicting schedules between the staff and venues. Sorry. We might be able to do an in-season event though. That would be cool.

I'm sad to hear about the lack of a Boston event. You all will be missed.

An in-season event would make it up to us, though!

Seconding the motion for an in-season Boston event!

One more vote for an in-season Boston event. Especially since the NY events aren't on a weekend, and I don't think this would be considered a valid reason to cancel class....by the university, not me.

It seems there are less stops than last year. Are pizza feeds done anymore?
joechris96

There are fewer this year, but we're going to be doing more events around games, ballparks, and events...like the ones we had in Tampa, Kansas City, and New York last year.

Would It be possible for the SF stop to have a pizza feed also? Those were always fun. And caloric.

We'll see what we can do. It's a possibility.

I can provide space at Rutgers if you want to come to central New Jersey.

I live in central Jersey, so if you care to coordinate an event wherever, I'm happy to wrangle BP guys. More likely they'll be wrangling me, actually, but that's another story.
