We couldn't do a show last week for a variety of reasons, but we make it up to you with nearly three hours of fun. We preview the World Series with Anthony Andro of Fox Sports SouthWest and Deadspin founder Will Lietch.  We talk a ton of prospects.  Our special guest, Rafael Rojas, gives us some fascinating talk about baseball in Venezuela. We have a listener of the week with rock star Riley Breckenridge. We even deliver not one, but two Nots. We hope you enjoy, and somehow make it all the way through, as this show was a lot of fun to do.

Note: We do alert you to the presence of the occasional adult language and subject matter. Don't say we didn't warn you.

Hey, the Mets nearly merited for minutes of podcast time based upon their prospects!

Kevin, on the idea that a guy "could be" hot. Is the small chance that a guy could be hot, worth the risk of allowing a sub-par player to take the field? I know that wasn't your point, just curious at what point you would actually bench a more talented player in favour of a perceived hot streak.

That's a fun question. Generally, I would not, unless I had a whole lot of feel that it wasn't a small sample thing. I would probably prefer the not hot guy with a better track record.

Kevin, for some reason the RSS feed version is 1.6 GB. I'd like to think that us non-iTunes people just get an extra 10 hours of you and Jason, but I imagine there was some technical error.

That was just an error in the size parameter, and it's fixed.

The Scrams remind me of Mudhoney. The best shitty rockband on the planet.
