Things are a bit late, so let's get right to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Carlos Beltran, San Francisco Giants – 22.71 seconds [video]
There weren't many big home runs hit on Friday. Carlos Beltran earns the Home Run of the Day with this third-inning blast to deep leftfield. Beltran ended the day 4-for-4 against the Diamondbacks, helping lead the Giants to a much-needed win.

Slowest Trot: Asdrubal Cabrera, Cleveland Indians – 26.23 seconds [video]
It has become very apparent by this point in the year: Asdrubal Cabrera just does not care for quick trots. This 26-second trot is only the latest example. It may be the worst, though, because Cabrera clearly slows down for the last three or four steps. The home run is also notable for the effort Alex Gordon puts in in leftfield, trying to make the catch.

Quickest Trot: Rick Ankiel, Washington Nationals – 18.71 seconds [video]
A wonderful trot from Ankiel barely edges out Brett Gardner (18.9 seconds) for the quickest trot of the day. St. Louis' David Freese had the only other sub-20 second trot on Friday.
