This interactive graphic will allow you to look up nearly anything you want about Derek Jeter’s hits. Each circle at the top of the graphic represents one of his hits. The size of the circle correlates to the value of the hit (singles are small, home runs are big), while the color throughout the graphic represents average leverage index (how “clutch” a situation the hit came in).

You can search by opposing team and opposing pitcher. You can filter by the score situation, type of hit, career number, date, leverage, inning, run differential, win probability added, type of hit, count, home/away, and runners on base.

The average leverage index, count, team, and pitcher boxes will all update as you change the filters. I have noticed that the average leverage index box will stop updating if you change the leverage filter, though you can fix this by refreshing the page.

Depending on the speed of your connection, this may take a while to load.

Wow. I'm not a Yankees fan and i don't have any particular fondness for Jeter but this is still really cool. Breaking down and summarizing a player's entire record of hits in one big graph-thing is pretty sweet.
