Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. Enjoy your special day. And if you ever feel the need to celebrate something today, I hear a home run trot is a pretty good way to do it.

Now let's get to the trots (including Friday's)!

Home Run of the Day: Drew Stubbs, Cincinnati Reds – 15.56 seconds [video]
Stubbs' inside-the-park home run from Friday. We all know inside-the-parkers are (nearly) always the result of a misplay in the outfield. This is true for Stubbs as well, but this misplay was a little different than others. Usually, an inside-the-parker comes from an outfielder diving for the ball and missing, or just losing it in the sun. For Stubbs, his came when rightfielder Jose Bautista and centerfielder Corey Patterson got too close to each other on the ball. They both recoiled from the other and the ball fell in the middle, kicking off to the side. Stubbs took full advantage. He even seemed to slow at the end, coming in at a pedestrian (for an inside-the-parker, at least) 15.56 seconds.

Slowest Trot: Jhonny Peralta, Detroit Tigers – 25.49 seconds [video]
Another home run from Friday. The slowest trot on Saturday was Matt Holliday's 24.86 second trot against Kansas City. In the 45 home runs across the two days, only four men took longer than 24-seconds to complete their trots. That's a remarkably low percentage.

Quickest Trot: Drew Stubbs, Cincinnati Reds – 15.56 seconds [video]
We already discussed the inside-the-park home run above. There were also two 18-second trots on Friday, from Scott Rolen and Kelly Shoppach (it's good to see Rolen hitting home runs again – I miss his trots).

There were six 19-second trots on Saturday, with the most notable belonging to Seattle's Dustin Ackley. The celebrated prospect came in at only 19.37 seconds on his first career home run. Michael Morse had the quickest trot Saturday, at 19.14 seconds.
