Let's get right to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Jason Giambi #3, Colorado Rockies – 24.91 seconds [video]
If this were the year 2001, hearing that Jason Giambi hit three home runs in a game wouldn't be all that big of a deal. Sure, it'd be impressive as all three-homer days are, but it wouldn't be shocking in anyway. In 2011, though, it may be the biggest home run feat of the year. His third home run came in the fifth inning, but, sadly, he was unable to reach number four in his last couple of at-bats.

Slowest Trot: David Ortiz, Boston Red Sox – 27.78 seconds [video]
Normally, I would say something like "what else do you expect from David Ortiz?" However, on Thursday, Juan Rivera and Miguel Cabrera, two of the slowest players in baseball (Rivera is, in fact, the second slowest), also hit home runs. Rivera's trot came in at 23.22 seconds while Cabrera's was a mere 21.98 seconds, two of the quickest trots recorded from those two. Ortiz, however, came through with one of his patented 28-second trots.

Quickest Trot: B.J. Upton, Tampa Bay Rays – 18.79 seconds [video]
Are we still hearing ridiculous comments about Upton's lack of hustle? I certainly hope not.

Another home run from Marlon Byrd puts him close to the top at 18.98 seconds. If only he could hit a home run in a stadium where his dugout is on the first base side.
