Let's get right down to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Jose Bautista #3, Toronto Blue Jays – 21.63 seconds [video]
Jose Bautista. 64 home runs in his last 162 games. All of them in Target Field – at least it feels that way. I'm not sure what to say about Bautista, but the guy has been unreal since the start of 2010. It's pretty fun, actually.

Slowest Trot: David Ortiz, Boston Red Sox – 25.48 seconds [video]
It was a pretty tame trot for Big Papi, but still plenty slow enough to take the crown for the day. Only Todd Helton was even within a second of Ortiz's trot, at 24.74 seconds.

Quickest Trot: Curtis Granderson, New York Yankees – 18.58 seconds [video]
And then there's Granderson, whose thirteen home runs would be the most surprising home run story of the season if it weren't for Bautista. Granderson beats Bautista in the trots, but they are both remarkably consistent. Cincinnati's Chis Heisey came in a close second, with his 18.81 second trot. Tampa Bay's Elliot Johnson came in with the third quickest trot of the night, running out his first career home run in 19.02 seconds.

Awesome - I've seen a bunch of different stats quoted about Bautista in the last day or two, but haven't seen the 64 in 162 games, except somewhere that I posted it. We're on the same page Mr Granillo!

I'm pretty sure that Ike Davis was on the DL on the 15th.

Ha. Thanks, you're right. It was Chris Davis. I made the change.
