Sorry for missing the Tater Trot Tracker posts for the last two days. I was busy travelling and such, and was unable to get to them in a timely manner. I have recorded all of the times for each home run, so they can be included in season averages; I just wasn't able to do it in a timely manner.

The quickest trot of Thursday's fifteen home runs came from Martin Prado, at 18.81 seconds, while the slowest was Todd Helton's 25.94 second trot. On Friday, the quickest trot was Austin Jackson's 18.87 second sprint and the slowest was Rod Barajas' 24.15 second trot (which isn't all that bad). Carlos Beltran's three home run burst on Thursday resulted in trots of 24.03 seconds, 22.61 seconds, and 23.33 seconds. Seattle's Carlos Peguero hit his first career home run on Friday. He rounded the bases in 20.11 seconds.

Now let's get to the real trots!

Home Run of the Day: Adrian Gonzalez, Boston Red Sox – 22.99 seconds [video]
This was the fourth straight game that Gonzalez has hit a home run, and the eighth home run he's hit since May 2. I think it's safe to say he's on a bit of a tear. The best part about this home run is his Ichiro-like swing.

Slowest Trot: Carlos Lee, Houston Astros – 26.39 seconds [video]
Colorado's Todd Helton (video) wasn't much behind Lee at 26.25 seconds. This is, by far, a sadder reflection on Helton than Lee.

Quickest Trot: Brandon Boggs, Milwaukee Brewers – 17.11 seconds [video]
I watched this video at least a dozen times, trying to peg down exactly when Boggs' foot touches the plate, and I'm still not convinced with this time. There's a chance it could be even quicker (possibly getting below 17-seconds). This was only Boggs' second start of the season; he has hit a (quick) home run in both games.
