Baseball Prospectus Book News

Ben, Jay, Kevin, Steven in DC Today

by Steven Goldman

One last reminder to the faithful to come out and see us in our finery on Monday at 7PM in the nation's capitol. The details:

Washington, DC. Monday, March 7, 7 PM
Politics & Prose 5015 Connecticut Ave NW
Washington, DC

The last of the great independent baseball sites meets the last of the great independent bookstores! Baseball talk! Also, Jay will talk about the time in college he drew a Lipizzaner stallion as a roommate! Not to be missed!

Steven Goldman is an author of Baseball Prospectus.

I make it there most every year but Mondays are a bad day for me, and I did get to see and talk to each of these guys last month in NYC...so maybe next year. Keep up the good work.

But you get a two-fer: seeing the BP gang, *and* it's an excuse to go to P&P, one of the best bookstores on the planet. How can you beat that?

It's always great to go to P&P, but Monday night I was still at home in western Pa, I don't go down to the DC area until Tuesday. Every time it's been on a Tuesday night, I've taken time off work and been there.

Jay made no mention of the horse. I feel cheated.

Otherwise, excellent event, as always. Kudos to Steven for his principled defense of last year's Giants assessment. Turning in now with book tucked under arm.
