This is about the time of year I get pissed at myself for moving out West.

Stoked to see you guys coming to BU. First time I've lived in proximity to one of the BP events.

Your East Coast Bias is duly noted.

As I tend to have to explain every year, it's not about an EC bias but rather the fact that more of us live in the East and Midwest and so it is logistically easier and less expensive for us to set up events in those parts of the world. Further, we can't just commandeer a venue--we have to be invited, and for whatever reason there are more stores on this seaboard that are eager to have us in.

That said, we have always done and will continue to do WC events, and we are also working on a couple of possibilities for the Cactus League. Stay tuned.

If y'all chip in, you can fly us to your city for an event!

Fair enough. I got $25 and a futon for a Portland trip! Probably going to need some help though...

I'll match your $25 for the Portland event. And Annie Bloom's Books had Rob Neyer out for a BP signing a couple of years ago, right? I'll go bug them to invite you all again.

Wow. Perhaps we should start a Kickstarter fund to bring BP authors to markets we would normally not be able to access.

That's a cool $50 right there. Just to be clear, we're talking about Oregon, right?

I'll take you to Snake and Jakes Christmas Bar if you come to New Orleans!
