I for one am glad to see Willis make it back to the big leagues (though I hear/read that his velocity is way down).

Could someone PLEASE fix the column order on the PFM .... it used to be HR/RBI/SB, now its HR/SB/RBI ... a minor nuisance for cutting and pasting into established cheat sheets.

So they're supposed to shell out $$ to 'fix' the column order on PFM??

How about you insert an extra column into your established cheat sheets, then just cut and paste SB from the one side of RBI to the other?

They're not shelling out dollars ... they're fixing something which up to this point was a pretty much industry-wide order.

But yes, I can certainly insert and cut and paste.

Updates - The Blue Jays have optioned Jesse Carlson and sent Jeremy Reed back to the minors. Mike McCoy is the official last man on the bench.

If it's "industry-wide", I can understand your call for standardization.

But of course it will cost some $$. Unless you think their coders ought to work for free.

There's nothing wrong with requesting improvements even if they might require some financial commitment, especially considering that you have to pay for the PFM!

Its not so much asking for improvement as it is just putting it back the way it was. The change happened with no warning or explanation.

Frankly, having coded a few programs in my life, and doing SPSS programming for a living, it shouldn't be THAT big a deal to switch it back.

(Yes, I know there are bigger things to worry about data-wise.)

I rather like having the power and speed together, actually. It's convenient.

This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you!!

Are you also monitoring lineup slots? For instance, with Rasmus? 2-or-5 is a pretty big difference. And is 6 still a possibility with him?

Any word on Tejada sticking with the Mets as backup SS?

(And the Bowker watch continues in SF.)

From a friend in San Jose ...

I heard Sabean on the radio at lunch. He sounded like the only debate about Bowker is whether to start him in LF or not.
